Title: ~WELCOME TO ADRINO´S GALLERY xD~

I'm doing a massive overhaul of my profile and that means going through and throwing out all my old journals and deviations that are 1.) too childish/ immature and 2.)useless and irrelevant; so if you see my deviation numbers suddenly drop to new lows, that's why Wink/Razz

Oh yea- for those that are wondering, I'm still doing the request, they just got pushed back a bit because of life and college mix-ups that are resolved for now...I love my life lol

You are now KawaiiAngel23. You are 8.3 sweeps(18 years) old and just graduated from Mythos High. You are quite unique, seeing as you didn't grow horns, but wings when growing up(You don't know which guardian to blame on that) and you live in the sky(crab dad wanted the better things in life). You are a cancer and very proud of it, even if your patron troll gave the universe cancer but you dare not tell anyone that tidbit. You can be found either trolling around the circle known to humans as the "internet", drawing, Watching animations of girls in magical outfits,or playing games on your ZBOX. If caught in a STRIFE, you aren't afraid to use your prized REPENTER. Yea, lame name, but eh.. it sounded cool at the time. Now it's time for you to explore your page.

Hey, I was wondering what kind of markers you use/used in your traditional drawings. I've been thinking about practicing with some, and I'm not sure what's considered "artist quality" (and what the difference is).

Hey Minty-San!

Any alcohol-based marker works really well for traditional art since they dry quick and can blend/layer easier than a water-based one(Crayola for example.) I mainly use Bic "mark it" markers for the clothes, hair, and eyes in my traditional drawings. They're not that expensive only about $10-20 at most. They work pretty well and can blend nicely if you use the right color combinations(like the light blue with the medium toned blue that's provided). They also have a nice feathering effect. Sharpies work as well and have a broader color range. For skin I use Copic markers but those are expensive($8 individually and packs can range from $15-$500 depending on quantity. I only have one set of the skin toned markers.); however, they are perfect for coloring since they are double-sided with two different brush nibs for broader or narrow strokes. They also blend very well and evenly. The ink in them can be replaced when they run out so you don't have to buy new markers every time. That's basically the biggest difference.

Quick tips: Because alcohol markers dry fast, you have to color in a little faster if you want even coloring.Oh-and use circular motions, covers more space. when you finish lining a drawing, unless it's a special lining pen, wait about 5 minutes before you color otherwise the alcohol will blend into the ink and cause it to smudge.  Alcohol markers also bleed through printer and regular sketchbook paper easily, so either have a couple of sheets underneath the paper you're working on or use something you won't mind getting marker on.

I hope I answered the question correctly ^^; You can text me if you have any more questionsEmoji02
